La Bouitte loses its third star
On Monday, the Michelin Guide announced that the three-starred La Bouitte restaurant had lost a star. Run by chefs René and Maxime Meilleur – father and son respectively -, La Bouittenestled in the Alps on the “Trois-Vallées ” ski area , had been awarded its third star in 2015, becoming the only “ski” restaurant to have received the prestigious distinction. What to say in the face of such news… words are not enough to express the unimaginable dismay faced by the Meilleur family.
