Khufu’s in Cairo wins award
Headed by chef Mostafa Seif, the Khufu’s has just been awarded the “Resy One to Watch 2025” prize. While this 50Best distinction puts the spotlight on a restaurant considered a rising star in world gastronomy, Khufu’s offers an unforgettable culinary experience with a breathtaking view of Egypt’s Giza pyramids. Currently ranked fourth on the Middle East and North Africa 50 Best Restaurant 2025 list, it was also named Best Restaurant in Egypt 2025. Founded in 2022, Khufu’s is one of the latest restaurants to join the Pier88 group, bringing a strong commitment to hospitality excellence. A native of the Cairo scene and winner of Top Chef Arabia in 2017, Mostafa Seif is one of the architects of new Egyptian cuisine, combining a personal sensibility with a respectful reinterpretation of ancestral flavors. Reflecting on classic Egyptian dishes such as mu’ammar rice with smoked beef and the house’s signature koshari salad, the menu testifies to Chef Seif’s deep admiration for his culinary roots and the rural traditions that shaped his upbringing.
