The famous Indian restaurant on rue Henri-Blanvalet welcomes the founders of Wine District for a high-flying wine evening.

To our great delight, associations between the world of food and wine continue their meteoric rise. On Wednesday February 28, the owner ofInda-Barowner Morad El-Hajjaji welcomes Charles Villa and Morgane Covino-Bellido, the founders of Wine Districtsurrounded by talented young winemakers. Adrien Pillot from Domaine Laurent Pillot and Paul Fumoso from Domaine Gour de Chaulé will be enchanting guests for the evening. The former is one of the new generation of Côte de Beaune winemakers. The second is THE new star of Gigondas wines. In the vicinity of the Dentelles de Montmirail, these century-old Grenache vines are planted on the same sandbanks as those of Emmanuel Reynaud and his famous Château des Tours. On the program? Tasting of three of Chassagne-Montrachet’s finest 1er Cru terroirs: Morgeot, Vide Bourse and La Grande Ruchotte. These great Chardonnays will go particularly well with crispy rice, sea bream tartar and Monarcq caviar, or prawn tempura. While Inda Bar’s fine poultry, cooked in a Tandoor oven, will be served with Domaine Gour de Chaulé wines, made from Grenache, a powerful yet elegant grape variety. Mark your calendars…
