Head sommelier position at Port-Gitana
Imagine Mont Blanc and its snow-capped peak as a backdrop. Imagine the gentle lapping of Lake Geneva in the background. Imagine entering a home that, in just two months, is already a sell-out. In a spirit and ambience designed by renowned architect Youri Kravtchenko, the Auberge du Port-Gitana is a Geneva house in its own right. Although the summer season will soon be coming to an end, it will be giving way to generous gourmet cuisine (hopefully with sauce). To complement the chef’s culinary vision, the Gourmet Brothers is looking for a talented sommelier to start in October. The sommelier’s tasks will include cellar management, wine list development, personalized advice and service, as well as training and support for the front-of-house team. Winegrowing knowledge, administrative rigor, team spirit, stock management and the pleasure of sharing are all part and parcel of the job, to best match the group’s philosophy.
