Ermes Elsener is no stranger to the region. After almost 20 years at the helm of the Hotel Olden in Gstaad, this leading professional in the restaurant and hotel business has moved to another village (and another canton), and has just been appointed by Sabine and Benoît Carcenat to manage the Valrose in Rougemont. A colorful character, he will be responsible for continuing to raise the profile of this charming hotel and its two Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant. “I am very honored to join the Valrose and excited to collaborate with Benoît and Sabine Carcenat, as well as with the young, passionate and top-notch team to continue the success of this iconic Rougemont institution. Our aim is to build the future of the Valrose through major projects, while preserving the values of excellence and refinement that have forged its reputation and history since 1904,” he declared. Welcome to the Valrose, Mr. Elsener.
