With BROCO, a new app developed in French-speaking Switzerland, artisans of fine food and drink are opening their doors to the general public. The goal is to bring consumers and producers closer together, going far beyond the simple act of purchasing.

BROCO doesn’t just want to have people try out great places. This new app from French-speaking Switzerland aims above all to put a face to the products we consume every day. Conceived by Jérémie Cordier, chef at the restaurant Racine in La Tour-de-Peilz, the platform brings together bakers, market gardeners, winemakers, fishermen, farmers, cheesemakers, and butchers around a shared vision: to give the public an insider’s look at their craft. The program features tours, tastings, workshops, and meetups directly at the production sites. It’s a way to better understand the seasons, the craftsmanship, and the work of those who shape our culinary heritage. BROCO also serves as a social network dedicated to local cuisine, where professionals and individuals can share their discoveries and promote regional products. At a time when consumers are seeking greater transparency and authenticity, this initiative provides a timely solution.
