Following its success in Nyon and Lausanne, Base Aparthotels has opened a new establishment in Geneva, offering a flexible alternative to traditional hotels.

Base Aparthotels has recently set up in response to growing demand for flexible, cosy accommodation solutions. In addition to offering an alternative for people in transition between two homes, Base also offers conditions tailored to professionals attending conventions and business shows, enabling them to take full advantage of a hybrid concept, halfway between residential comfort and corporate functionality. Each of the 53 apartments features a modern kitchen with quality appliances from Joseph Joseph, Bodum and Villeroy & Boch, a practical workspace and premium Swiss bedding from Elite. A rooftop lounge with Ethnicraft furniture, a coworking café and a sauna/fitness area equipped by Technogym complete the facilities. “Our ambition has always been to create pragmatic and responsible places that meet the real needs of today’s residents. With Base Genève, we’re taking things a step further by demonstrating that it’s possible to combine premium comfort with environmental awareness,” explains Frédéric Mydske, CEO of Norwood SA, the real estate development company behind the Base Aparthotels concept and its financing.
