Having recently won the City of Geneva’s call for tenders, Aurélien Guala and Jérôme Bergaud, the new tenants ofAmarantethe Botanical Garden’s restaurant, decided to open on Friday and Saturday evenings. In keeping with their sustainable, plant-focused approach and in phase with the seasons, the duo wanted to offer a unique experience to epicureans looking for moments suspended in time among plants. The Botanical Garden has therefore authorized these young restaurateurs to be on hand two evenings a week to offer a culinary experience open to the public by reservation only. Diners will be totally immersed in the park, which is officially closed to the public, but will have the right of way for those lucky enough to come and dine at Amarante. The first edition kicks off on Saturday, January 25. The tandem has called on aromatician and botany enthusiast Yves Lottaz to break down a plant from the garden and integrate each molecule into a dish on the menu. It all starts with jasmine… To take part in this wonderful gastronomic initiative, don’t hesitate to reserve your table here: RESERVATION.
