In partnership with GastroVaud section Chablais and local culinary professionals, the town of Aigle is launching an initiative designed to highlight the products of this magnificent terroir and the expertise of the region’s restaurateurs and artisans. The project, which began on March 3, 2025, aims to showcase the flavours of the Chablais region through an authentic, local culinary experience. From now on, participating establishments – cafés, restaurants, butchers, bakers and confectioners – will offer an exclusive and original gastronomic creation, composed almost exclusively of local ingredients, produced or processed in the Chablais region. The aim? Promote the richness of the region and encourage sustainable, local consumption. In addition, restaurateurs are invited to pair their dish with a regional beverage (wine, beer, fruit juice or other), for a complete taste experience. A distinctive sticker will appear on the menus of participating establishments, enabling customers to spot these taste creations at a glance. The icing on the cake: chef Edgad Bovier from Café du Cerf in Rougemont is the event’s patron.
