There are three of them, they’re young and they’ve just opened a sausage bar in the lower streets of our beautiful City of Calvin. Let’s face it, it was something to think about and something to dare to do. During his studies in Zurich, Henri Barbier-Mueller frequented the legendary Sternen Grill after school. Over time (and meals), he imagined a version of this institution in Geneva. Many years later, in 2024, he decided to embark on his entrepreneurial adventure alongside his two partners, Rhéa Zimmermann and Nicolas Rey. A powerful team, they gave the former Oranger arcade a facelift. Against a backdrop of flashy red, the space has been imagined as an intergenerational arcade by Youri Kravtchenko and his architectural firm YKRA. On the operational side, Rhéa Zimmermann, a graduate of the École Hôtelière de Lausanne, will be responsible for the arcade and its day-to-day development. Although the German version of the famous sausage is spelled with a T, we finally have the French version with Brad… wurst! Opening on Saturday, January 11 at 6, rue de Rive! We wish them all the best.
