Edward Leenders has been appointed new General Manager of The Woodward, Auberge Resorts Collection in Geneva.

With a career spanning more than twenty-five years, Edward Leenders brings to The WoodwardAuberge Resorts Collection his extensive experience in the luxury hotel industry, having held senior management positions in some of Europe’s most prestigious hotels. Prior to joining The Woodward, Edward was General Manager of the Corinthia Grand Hotel Astoria in Brussels, where he oversaw the successful reopening of the historic Grand Hotel Astoria. Prior to his arrival in Brussels, Edward was General Manager of the Hotel de L’Europe in Amsterdam, where he successfully repositioned this iconic hotel. Under his leadership, the hotel gained international renown and its gourmet restaurant, Le Flore, was awarded two Michelin stars and one Michelin green star. A Dutch national and graduate of The Hague Hotel School and Cornell University, he also spent over ten years with Rocco Forte Hotels, holding executive positions at Hotel Savoy in Florence, Hotel Amigo in Brussels and Brown’s Hotel in London. His international career has taken him to luxury hotel positions in the USA, Jordan, the Seychelles, the UK, Croatia and beyond, making him the ideal candidate to guide The Woodward Auberge into a new chapter of its career.
