Thailand is on the move! In this new vintage, the Michelin Guide Thai version boasts 462 establishments, including for the first time a three-star restaurant. As for the rest, seven two-star establishments and 28 one-star establishments (including five new arrivals) make up the rest of the ranking, with a total of 270 restaurants recommended by the red guide, 20 of which are located in Chon Buri, a new destination in this eighth Thai selection. Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the Guide, commented: “The inspectors awarded three stars to Sornwith talented chef-owner Supaksorn “Ice” Jongsiri at the helm. The year 2025 thus marks a turning point for Thailand, which now occupies a place of choice on the international gastronomic scene. What’s more, the entire selection celebrates the richness and diversity of Thai cuisine and highlights the universal aspect of Thai gastronomy, which blends tradition, modernity and new trends.”
