It’s a pleasure to return to MAX. A veritable shaft of light in the heart of the Eaux-Vives district, this small brasserie with a casual bistro feel continues to write fine gastronomic chapters. The owner, Alexandra Vialettes, has a lot to do with it. Faithful to her post, the young entrepreneur has her eye on everything and makes sure that her guests are always happy to sit down at her place. On these frigid days, there’s nothing better than a comforting dish in sauce to help us cope with the plummeting temperatures. Let’s succumb to the GRTA tagine-style chicken, quince, butternut, Iranian black lemon and coriander. Slightly spicy and tangy, this culinary creation soothes us and reassures us that winter is well and truly here.
