The Oklahoma burger at Pretty Patty

Although January is supposed to be a light, studious month, that’s without counting on the Oklahoma burger from Pretty Patty Burger to which we’re going to succumb without any qualms. To start this 2024 vintage with dignity, talking about light and airy dishes would probably be more reasonable and would give us a clear conscience… But no! At the risk of being a source of temptation and the embodiment of gluttony, I always try to highlight the artisans of taste who take the trouble to do things right. And without any hesitation, this is the case for Pretty Patty founders Lucas Jeanneret and Adrian Smith, who are opening a second arcade not far from the Cornavin train station after their first establishment on Avenue Henri-Dunant. With ultra-soft buns, lightly sweetened caramelized onions and delicately melted cheese, these meaty “patties”, tender on the inside, crispy on the outside, and their secret sauce make for a diabolically gourmet moment.
