Le Café des Sources, a bistro where life is good
When Éric Vouriot took over this bistro, he chose to transform it into a real neighborhood table, where the diners’ voices give way to the clink of cutlery. Behind the counter, Eliane, a familiar and loyal figure and living memory of the place, is always there to welcome guests. Her energy and humor are a reflection of the house: warm, sincere, without fuss. Here, you’ll find local regulars as well as the curious in search of generous cuisine.

A velouté and a terrine
Autumn comes to the table with a pumpkin cappuccino. Whipped cream prolongs the sweetness of the velouté, enhanced by roasted seeds. A delicate, comforting starter that elegantly whets the appetite. More rustic, but just as tasty, the pheasant terrine with foie gras heralds the hunting season, reminding us that the cuisine of Le Café des Sources follows the rhythm of the seasons.
Next comes one of the house’s signature dishes: Les Sources beef tartare. Cut with a knife, generously seasoned with a gherkin and caper sauce, it is served with golden fries and toasted bread. A timeless classic, executed with care, which illustrates the philosophy of the menu: bistronomic, reassuring and faithful to the expectations of a neighborhood bistro. Entrecôte parisienne, hamburger, pike quenelle or veal sweetbreads with morel mushrooms complete a sincere and varied proposal, where there’s something for everyone.

Absinthe ice cream
For dessert, the chocolate fondant is a gourmet highlight. Its flowing, intense heart balances perfectly with the absinthe ice cream, a subtle marriage of bitterness and freshness. A sweet touch, both light and daring, to round off the meal.
With its relaxed atmosphere and seasonal menu, Café des Sources has remained true to the bistro spirit while elevating its cuisine. More than just an address, it’s a warm and inviting place to return to for a simple moment of fine dining.
