Cuvée Pain Perdu is the latest addition to the Bejon estate. A 40-year-old plot in the commune of Beaumont-en-Véron produces a Chinon with Cabernet Franc planted on yellow limestone. The result is a wine of impressive aromatic freshness, with a floral, smoky and spicy nose, and a fluid, digestible palate with supple tannins that beckon the next sip. The vines are biodynamic and the wine is made in the most natural way possible, with no inputs. Ladies and gentlemen, get out the bbqs, here’s the ideal companion for this sunny spring.
