Since October 1, 2022, René Wanner’s son Romain has taken over the family distillery formerly known as Absintissimo. Now called Distillerie Wanner, the former culinary journalist has made a number of changes, above all visual: the bottles are now adorned with a sober, elegant line of labels. In the bottles, the quality of the products (absinthes, gins and whiskies) created by his father has been preserved. But in time, Romain intends to do even better! And while he is gradually developing his own range, he also intends to offer chefs, bars and other food professionals the chance to work with him to create their own spirits, whether gin, fruit spirit or any other eau-de-vie.
