Châteauneuf du CAVE

From the very first nose, flirting with aromas of pinot, rose and incense, Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2020 Font de Joubert evokes the wines of Emmanuel Reynaud, owner of Château Rayas and Château des Tours; and with good reason: part of the century-old vines are located on the Rayas site, and vinification is carried out in whole bunches! On the palate, it exudes the breed of grenache on sand, with that tamed opulence, a texture so velvety that you hardly notice the tannins, and that melting, crisp, infinite finish of uncommon quiet strength.

There are still small, little-known estates that work miracles, and this is one of them…without doubt the best price/pleasure ratio of all the Côtes du Rhône, an absolute favorite that will work wonders with lamb crépinette with cumin and apricots, osso bucco Milanese, or even duck à l’orange or daube provençale!
