Located in the commune of Leynes at the crossroads of the Mâconnais and Beaujolais regions, Domaine Chardigny is a family story dating back to the 18th century. Twenty hectares of vines, including 8 in Saint-Véran, 6 in Saint-Amour, 3 in Burgundy and 3 in Beaujolais-Villages. Pierre-Maxime specializes in sales and runs the estate full-time; Jean-Baptiste is the vineyard manager and Victor is the winemaker. In organic conversion, the domaine obtained the label in 2018. Now 100% organic, the estate embarked on biodynamic viticulture 2 years ago. The Bois de Fée cuvée comes from the eponymous mid-slope parcel in the Saint-Véran appellation. The outcropping limestone terroir produces a powerful, slender and elegant wine. Aged for 12 months in oak casks, these magnificent Chardonnay grapes develop a long-lasting patina.
