The sounds of pastry chef Othmane Khoris
As far back as he can remember, Othmane Khoris has always loved to cook. For professional reasons linked to his parents, he was expatriated to Dubai, but his father sent him back to France at the age of 17 so that he could devote himself to his passion. It was then that he joined the oldest pastry shop in France, Maison Stohrer, made famous for its incomparable Baba au rhum.
In this environment, where history rubbed shoulders with rigor, the young pastry chef developed a taste for being the best, and over the years great houses have marked out his career, such as the Alpina in Gstaad, his best and most lasting memory. The immense freedom he has been given has enabled him to fully express his vision and approach to pastry-making, earning him the title of Gault & Millau Pastry Chef of the Year 2023!
Musically, it’s RAP that has always accompanied our talented pastry chef in his creativity. He loves urban music and shares some of his favorites with us, such as Gazo’s Flashback, or Maki Otsuki’s Memories.
