Musical decompression with the chef and owner of the Bistrot du Lion d'Or, Romain Desvenain.

For two years now, talented chef Romain Desvenain has been delighting us at the Bistrot du Lion d’Or. This legendary Carouge establishment has been in existence for over thirty years, and today it’s a pleasure to enjoy dishes with true, authentic flavors.

The chef, originally from southwest France, started out as a young chef with Michel Guérard before flying to England, where he exercised his passion in the restaurant at Whatley Manor. He arrived in Geneva in 2016 as chef at Boléro, the establishment owned by Serge Labrosse. Following this wonderful experience, he decided to set up his own business, and is now free to practice the profession he loves so much.

Like any hard-working person, music is a way for him to decompress and escape. Today, he shares some of his favorites with us, in a variety ranging from Barry White to Manu Chao to Starsailor. Click, discover and decompress like a boss!
