For its 26th edition, Swiss Taste Week is thinking big. An inspiring patron, a canton in the spotlight and an invitation to all those involved in the art of eating well: 2026 is already in the offing.

From September 17 to 27, 2026 Swiss Week of Taste will celebrate its 26th edition with a clear credo: eating well for people, animals and the planet. A committed vision where pleasure remains king. At 36, Zineb Hattab becomes the new patron of Swiss Taste Week 2026. A chef with a singular career path, from engineering to the most demanding kitchens in Europe, she defends a gastronomy that is trustworthy, local and mostly vegan. Her style? Free, vibrant, contemporary. A cuisine that speaks as much to the heart as to the conscience.

This year, the canton of Zurich will be under the banner of Taste. Through the “Genussregion Zürich 2026” program, a series of events, dialogues and festivals will highlight food innovation, culinary heritage and sustainability. Another highlight: the 4th meeting of the Network of Swiss Cities of Taste will be held on May 29, 2026 in Zurich on the theme of “food and social solidarity”. Because eating is an intimate act, but also a profoundly collective one. In 2026, Taste will be more than just a matter of eating. It will be a commitment, a celebration and, above all, an invitation to do better… together.
