Alongside owner Steve Rufer, a new duo takes over the kitchen at Le Coin du Bar. Welcome to Nathan Cavadini and Filiberto Bresciani.

As the new autumn season gets underway, the team at the bistro Au Coin du Bar has some very good news for us. Not one, but two chefs are taking over the kitchen of this restaurant, which has been an integral part of Geneva’s gourmet scene for many years. Was a change necessary? Perhaps it was. In any case, it’s a done deal with the arrival of Nathan Cavadini and Filiberto Bresciani, two former chefs from the Michelin-starred Italian restaurant Tosca. A light transalpine breeze touches the kitchen of this bistro, which usually favors French cuisine. Expect homemade pastas such as mezzi rigatoni cacio e pepe, gambero rosso, agnolotti del plin stuffed with braised beef and sage butter, or fettuccine with wild boar ragout and Taggiasche olives. For those with a passion for the place, rest assured… the classic French bistro dishes will be on offer, such as our homemade pâté en croûte and beef tartare. A Franco-Italian marriage in all its splendor.
