After long months of waiting, chef Marc Veyrat has just opened his new restaurant in Megève.

The chef in the black hat is back. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, Marc Veyrat is back in the village of Megève, intent on writing new gastronomic chapters in the heart of his beloved Savoyard village. In a chalet at the foot of Le Jaillet, the emblematic chef offers “high definition” cuisine, with four courses a week for up to 18 diners, and a menu featuring the flavours of “wild meadows, mountain pastures and undergrowth”. Enthusiasts will discover or recognize some of the chef’s classic dishes in a video posted on his website, entitled “Immersive dinner from elsewhere”: trout from Lake Geneva cooked in spruce bark, incredible beaufort noodles that dissolve on contact with a vegetable broth, or the disconcerting virtual walk through the undergrowth. Marc Veyrat never ceases to surprise us, and we’re delighted!
