The Grand Hôtel du Lac in Vevey is delighted to announce the launch of its new culinary rendez-vous “Esprit du Dimanche”, under the guidance of its Executive Chef, Guy Ravet. Like a Proust’s madeleine, this culinary rendez-vous features a selection of emblematic dishes carefully prepared by Chef Guy Ravet. A first act of gourmandise awaits you with an assortment of starters to share, or dishes such as the lightly spiced Blonay beef tartare, accompanied by freshly baked rolls and brioches and a magnificent bowl of Sunday salad, roasted seeds and old-fashioned vinaigrette. “The first dish I’ll be offering will be a Blanquette de Veau aux morilles, simmered at length according to my grandmother’s recipe, Pilaf rice and melting carrots with fresh herbs (rendezvous February 25 and March 3, 2024), then during the second part of March I’ll be proposing a Slowly Confit Appenzell Lamb Mouse again according to a family recipe. I’m looking forward to welcoming more gourmets to my table with conviviality and simplicity, and to delighting their taste buds”.
