Refugee Food Festival returns to Geneva

The Refugee Food Festival can count on the support of six establishments who will be welcoming refugee chefs for original and tasty collaborations. The event will also be supported by the Hospice Général. By creating a powerful space for discovery, exchange and understanding around the table, the Refugee Food Festival aims to change attitudes, accelerate the professional integration of refugees, and contribute to the dynamism and creativity of the catering sector. From June 11 to 15, the festival will be based on the creation of unique pairs of chefs or artisans from Geneva’s food industry and refugee cooks eager to share their culinary heritage. With participants such as bakery and restaurant Sawerdo, Alles Gut ! Gemüse Kebab or the Bistrot du Lion d’Or in Carouge, take part in this out-of-the-ordinary event to support a good cause.
