Chef Philippe Chevrier and his team are delighted to welcome Christophe Montaud, the new head of sommellerie at Domaine de Châteauvieux.

Thanks to his experience and knowledge, Christophe Montaud brings all his winemaking expertise to the heights of Satigny. After working in the dining room at Michel Trama, he spent some time in exile in the United States, before returning in 2006 to the Hôtel de Ville restaurant in Crissier as head sommelier. Once again attracted by the land of Uncle Sam, he left to work for a certain Thomas Keller at The French Laundry in California. But he misses Switzerland! He stopped off at the three-starred Hôtel de Ville restaurant in Crissier, before officiating for the first time at Domaine de Châteauvieux in 2010. He took part in the opening of Steakhouse chez Philippe, and continued his career in other establishments before taking over as head sommelier at Philippe Chevrier in April. “Domaine de Châteauvieux is a gastronomic benchmark in Switzerland, and I’m delighted to be returning there and writing new chapters on sommellerie”.
