New location for Arthur’s

We’ve been waiting a long time for this news. It’s finally here! Nicole Codourey and Dominique Mottas have finally found the perfect place to revive Griffin’s and Arthur’s in the same establishment. The couple are embarking on a pharaonic project to redevelop the 1,000 m2 of space on the first floor of the Post Office at Place de la Poste, which is currently under renovation. Genevans nostalgic for the old party establishments will soon find a cocktail bar, a wine bar, a restaurant, a smoking room, private lounges and a nightclub. “We want to bring together two notions: that of the intimate entre-soi, and that of a festive place open to the outside world and accessible to as many people as possible,” Nicole Codourey, the group’s artistic director, told 20 minutes newspaper. A wind of carefree joie de vivre and nocturnal freedom is likely to blow back over the City of Calvin. “While adapting to today’s modern world, we want to rediscover the spirit and joy of the 60s and 80s, without lapsing into nostalgia or pastism.
