With the departure of Mathieu Quetglas at the end of March, a new page has been turned at the restaurant Valrose. Present since the beginning of the adventure alongside chef Benoît Carcenat, the director and sommelier has actively participated in the success of this house that shines in the sky of Swiss gastronomy. After working in renowned establishments such as the Hôtel de Ville restaurant in Crissier and the Maison Wenger in Noirmont, the sommelier decided to leave the restaurant world and join CAVE SAa wine import company founded by Jacques Perrin in Gland. Meanwhile, chef Benoît Carcenat continues his exceptional gastronomic career in the heart of the Vaud village. We wish Mathieu Quetglas all the best in his new role, and look forward to meeting his replacement at Valrose on one of our next gourmet getaways.
