Le Silencio opens in New York

For the past ten years Silencio has been one of the French capital’s most popular nightlife venues. Prince, Lana Del Rey and Pharrell Williams have breathed their energy into the place, as have Breat Easton Ellis, David Fincher and Virgil Abloh. After opening their beach in Ibiza and a second Parisian address on the Left Bank, it was time this year to open in New York. Just a stone’s throw from Time Square, in the mythical Hell’s Kitchen district where the echoes of Studio 54 still echo, those who manage to cross the threshold will have the chance to discover the New York version of this ultra-confidential club. Inside, they’ll discover Silencio’s signature universe – minimal and contemporary – skilfully revisited by aesthete Harry Nuriev. At the bar, they can sample cocktails by maestro Rémy Savage, who already officiates in Paris and Ibiza. On the menu: a Manhattan twisted with a dash of Pernod, or an upside-down New York sour with orgeat.
