With the opening of an Experimental Chalet in the Val d'Isère ski resort, the Experimental Group is experiencing impressive growth.

L’Experimental Group acquired L’Aigle des Neiges in mid-2023: a large 110-room hotel in the heart of the village of Val d’Isère, which was transformed by Dorothée Meilichzon. The massive building, made of lauze, concrete and wood, immediately inspired the designer, reminding her of an American-style lodge: logs, branches, stonework and woodwork were the starting point for the project. “After the Experimental Chalet Verbier, as well as another project underway in Saint-Moritz, we wanted a lodge in the French Alps. Ideally located, close to the slopes, and at the same time in the heart of the resort whose atmosphere we love so much, we found the perfect place for the Experimental Chalet Val d’Isère,” says Pierre-Charles Cros, co-founding partner of the Experimental Group. The hotel will be ready to welcome its first guests for the 2024 winter season from December 15.
