For the third year running, Dabiz Muñoz has been named best chef in the world at the Best Chefs Awards.

Diver XO chef Dabiz Muñoz has been crowned the world’s best chef for the third year running. The Spanish chef triumphed once again at the seventh Best Chefs Awards held recently in Mérida, Yucatán, one of Mexico’s richest and most diverse gastronomic regions. Catalan chef Alber Adriá of Enigma, who also won the prize for the best new entry in the competition, and Slovenian chef Ana Roš of Hiša Franko, whose list was rounded out by 10 special awards to international greats such as Danish chef Rasmus Munk (Alchemist), Bahraini chef Tala Bashmi (Fusions by Tala) and Mexican Karime López (Gucci Osteria).
