If you’ve ever pushed open the door of Refettorio Geneva, you’ll surely have met Romain Bortolotti and Charlotte Hennessy. Real pillars of the dining room alongside chef Walter El Nagar, they decided to take the entrepreneurial route in the Boulevard Georges-Favon district with Charlotte de Benedetti. Le Comptoir du Boulevard will be a gourmet grocery store with recipes inspired by the three protagonists’ travels and culinary traditions. Passionate about gastronomy, the trio, who met on the benches of the prestigious École Hôtelière de Lausanne, are already making our mouths water with a few trailers posted on their Instagram story. With seating for around ten, we can expect a festival of traditional recipes revisited with taste and respect, as well as homemade cuisine reminiscent of the flavors of childhood. While you’re waiting to discover the (real) ham and butter, a “Genevan” salad of longeole and potatoes or polpetta della nonna, don’t hesitate to take part in the participatory financing by clicking on the attached link: CROWDFUNDING.
