If you’ve had the chance to set foot in the restaurant Le Bayview in the Hôtel Président Wilson, you’re sure to have rubbed shoulders with Christophe Vandoolaeghe. His tall stature was never imposing, as he was discreet, jovial and elegant, able to blend into his surroundings. He was like an extension of chef Michel Roth on the other side of the kitchen pass at the Michelin-starred establishment on the shores of Lake Geneva. A loyalty that lasted almost a decade. Today, Christophe wishes to devote more time to his family and future projects. The good news? He’s staying in the region and will soon be announcing his next adventure. For Bayview fans, Christophe Conte, Christophe’s former right-hand man, is already master on board.
