Chez Calvin welcomes Luca Ragnelli

Fabian Affentranger, owner of the festive restaurant Chez Calvin in Geneva, is never short of ideas to surprise his guests in search of festive gastronomy. For the upcoming summer season, he will soon be collaborating with former Décanteur chef and friend Luca Ragnelli. “We wanted to get together on a joint project where Luca could give free rein to all his culinary creativity. After the arrival of Eyal Shani, this is a more personal adventure, more local in scope. We quickly agreed and, in all humility, we want to break with Calvin’s codes while getting even closer to our customers,” declares Fabian Affentranger. For his part, Luca Ragnelli will continue to host his programs on Leman Bleu, participate in the solidarity project at Refettorio Geneva alongside chef Walter El Nagar, and develop a menu of Italian-inspired dishes based on the Geneva terroir. In addition to expanding its wine list with numerous Swiss references, Chez Calvin will remain open throughout the summer. The name of the pop-up? Il Municipio, la tavola festiva.
