Caves de l’Hôtel de Paris celebrates its 150th anniversary
It’s an anniversary not to be missed if you’re passionate about fine wines. The Caves de l’Hôtel de Paris in Monaco are opening a year of celebration, in an evolving showcase. The program includes exclusive dinners, conferences and master classes, in partnership with leading wine and champagne houses. Carved out of the rock beneath the palace in January 1874, the Caves de l’Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo extend over 1,500 m, making them the largest hotel cellar in the world, housing, in silence and coolness, over 350,000 bottles lying over 1.5 kilometers and some 6,000 different references. An absolutely unique concentrate and a priceless wine heritage, the rarity of which is renowned the world over. To mark the festivities, the cellars are getting a facelift and unveiling the first phase of their metamorphosis: a new entrance, a new reception and tasting room designed by Bruno Moinard. The second phase is scheduled to run from November 2024 to March 2025.
