The Mandarin Oriental hotel in Geneva presents its new ephemeral concept: Le Bistrot du Rhône.

To succeed the Peruvian cebicheria Yakumanka by Gastón Acurio, which closed its doors at the end of February, the Mandarin Oriental in Geneva is pleased to present its new ephemeral concept until the end of summer 2023: Le Bistrot du Rhône. Under the direction of Laurent Wozniak, the five-star hotel’s executive chef, this restaurant will offer cuisine inspired by French bistros, in a modern decor and (always) with a view of the Rhône from its veranda. For the menu, the chef has worked́ with numerous local and French producers, in order to promote sustainable and responsible cuisine. For example, the menu features ” Burrata Genevoise “, made in the heart of Geneva, and poultry from the nearby Nant d’Avril farm . A selection of Charolais beef cooked in the Josper oven will also be on offer. This concept of Latin cooking with vegetable charcoal, widely used in South America – a reference to Yakumanka – preserves flavours perfectly. While we wait to discover this new concept alongside Japanese restaurant Sachi, let’s congratulate talented chef Laurent Wozniak.
