Even if life has decided otherwise, Benjamin Breton will always have a Genevan touch in our gourmet hearts. I still remember the full-page review I had the pleasure of writing in Le Temps following my first tasting at Bottle Brothers. What a slap in the face! The publication and the many articles that followed never marred the personality of this gifted chef for his young age. Since then, we’ve never lost touch… he at the stove and I at the computer. When, many years later, we learned that the young owner of theAuberge de Lucinges and the Bistrot Madeleine won the title of “Grand de Demain” awarded by Gault&Millau France, it’s clear that his talent continues to be recognized by institutions… whether their book is yellow or red. At the age of 30, Benjamin Breton knows how difficult it is to build this adventure on his own… so congratulations on the work accomplished by his team of young talents.
