It must be strange for him to change banks after so many years on the Quai du Mont-Blanc. Since the beginning of February, Arnaud Daviaud, Jeanine Dunand’s loyal lieutenant at Java, has taken over management of the Rooftop 42. This establishment overlooking the heart of the Rue du Rhône is the realm of the Barras family, who have made a choice recruitment in Arnaud. Working alongside the clan, the new manager aims to develop the restaurant’s festive side with musical and artistic events, introduce guests to the restaurant for lunch, rework its image and positioning to move slightly upmarket, and attract new Swiss and international clientele.
