Arakel’s return

The first word that comes to mind is FINALLY! Finally, because the fine team at Arakel restaurant and wine bar have been a long time coming and we’ve really missed them. But it’s only when you cross the threshold of this new gastronomic and viticultural showcase that you realize how long it has taken this culinary crème de la crème to bring their project to fruition. For over a year, Arakel Sedef and Julien Samson have been fine-tuning the new concept, which opens today at 17 rue Henri-Blanvalet, marking their return to Geneva after the recent, discreet opening in Crans-Montana. While Julien steps up to become Operations Manager of both restaurants, former l’Aparté stalwart Geoffrey Prellwitz takes charge of the dining room, and chef Quentin Philippe is in charge of the kitchen.
