Gazpacho from Café de la Plage

No doubt about it, just look at the photo! You’ll surely recognize the blue and white stripes on the central bar of the Café de la Plage in the heart of Geneva’s Grand Théâtre. As the terrace is temporarily closed, lunch is served indoors, with the same pleasure as always. Alongside Jacopo Romagnoli, chef Tom Hutrel proposes a sweet ending with a strawberry dessert. Enhanced by a clarified and slightly sweetened strawberry gazpacho, the red fruit star of summer is accompanied by a strawberry sorbet, topped with a dome of Gruyère double cream and a few lime zests on top. A gourmet chef’s dessert.
