At Inda-Bar, summer is for women
For the past few months, Inda Bar has been hearing a new voice behind the counter. Alone behind her bar, Catha is composing her own creations for the first time. We had the pleasure of tasting two products from her new summer menu – a score full of nuance, delicacy and technical mastery. Two very distinct cocktails, born of emotions, encounters and words, to accompany a flavor-filled Indian escapade.

Golden Lassi
A nod to the Indian fusion proudly displayed at Inda Bar: Golden Lassi. A limpid, refined reinterpretation of the famous Indian beverage. Clarification is Catha’s preferred signature, and this cocktail, made with vodka, homemade yoghurt liqueur, mango and honey syrup spiced with cinnamon and chili, is transformed into an elegant golden potion of surprising roundness. The whole is clarified with tonka bean-infused milk, which balances sweetness and complexity. The final touch: a burst of white chocolate with spices, like a discreet dessert on the rim of the glass.
In contrast, the second cocktail draws on a more intimate inspiration. Catha describes it as a quest for tenderness and sensuality. A cold infusion of pink berries in Pisco, wild strawberry liqueur, homemade red fruit tea syrup and red shiso: a frothy, floral and fruity short drink, as velvety in the mouth as a kiss.

“Shaken dry, then cooled with ice, it’s like a moment suspended in time, finished off with homemade strawberry leather. A light cocktail sure to please fans of sweet flavors…
Two creations that are resolutely different, but conceived with the same exacting standards. To be savoured as the opening of a thousand-spice dinner, or as the sweet finale to a wonderful evening, we can’t wait to see what Catha has in store for us next!
