After several years in teaching, the Geneva native has changed careers to bring to life a project that had been on his mind for some time. In the kitchen, local ingredients find their way between two slices of bread: the bread is made in Geneva by Maison Guerrazzi, the beef is GRTA, the pork comes from Jussy, and the chicken is Swiss.  <\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4 sandwiches<\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The menu starts out intentionally small with a limited selection and four sandwiches named after the founder\u2019s personal connections: Jack, a tribute to Yoram\u2019s grandfather; 1602, made entirely with ingredients from Geneva; \u201cYoyo,\u201d his favorite; and \u201cYoshi,\u201d a nod to family tradition that has become the only vegetarian option. All four recipes can also be served as a plate meal, accompanied by Lebanese tabbouleh, baked potatoes, or an iceberg lettuce salad. <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Just a stone&#8217;s throw from the lake, Filon aims to become a go-to spot for everyday meals\u2014a place where you can grab a hot, hearty sandwich before telling your friends all about it.
