Effective September<sup>1<\/sup>, 2026, Christian Wildhaber will take the helm of the Geneva property. He is coming from Jakarta, where he has been managing the Mandarin Oriental since August 2025.  <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With nearly thirty years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry behind him and a decidedly international career\u2014the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Sydney, Guangzhou\u2026\u2014he went on to make a notable mark in Lucerne. As head of the Mandarin Oriental Palace, Lucerne, he spearheaded the hotel\u2019s renovation, opening, and launch. <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A native of Vevey and fluent in French, English, and German, Christian Wildhaber is returning to Switzerland\u2014this time to Geneva.
