Back then, who would have really bet on this location? It might have seemed like a bold move, but it ultimately turned out to be a brilliant idea. Over the years, the restaurant has found its rhythm, its identity, and, above all, its clientele. Admittedly, there\u2019s been some turnover within the team. But who doesn\u2019t experience that these days in the restaurant business?     <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Five years later, Suahoy is still going strong. A fifth anniversary is something to celebrate\u2014and celebrate in style. So congratulations to Sandrine Pally and Yutakan Pongkunsup, who pulled off this new venture after Soi Thai Canteen and didn\u2019t stop there. Shortly after opening, they took over the arcade next to Suahoy to create Suahoy Studio, a space dedicated primarily to Thai cooking classes. It\u2019s a cozy culinary <em>speakeasy<\/em> whose centerpiece is a magnificent central island, extended by a large stainless-steel countertop, around which people cook, learn, and share.
