According to the Kakinuma Group, the takeover was an obvious choice, as the restaurant seemed to fit perfectly with its philosophy: authentic Japanese cuisine, respect for the product and an experience conceived with simplicity and elegance. The idea will be to preserve the spirit of the place while gradually bringing in the Kakinuma sensibility. The name of the restaurant and the current team will be maintained, with the aim of ensuring the natural evolution of the address, in the continuity of what has made Namura such a success with lovers of Japanese cuisine in Geneva. In the kitchen, chef Kiyomi Sasaki will remain at the helm to preserve the restaurant&#8217;s culinary identity. In the dining room, Gr\u00e9goire Deschamps, currently at Lion d&#8217;Or in Cologny, will join the adventure to support this new dynamic in terms of welcome and service. The project will also be supported by Tadashi Mimura, chef of the Kakinuma restaurant in Blanvalet, and Kohei Kakinuma. On the menu: a selection of traditional sushi, charcoal grills, sukiyaki marmite with Swiss and wagyu beef, as well as several of Kakinuma&#8217;s signature specialties.
