Located in Burgundy, the estate stretches between the villages of Gevrey-Chambertin and Vougeot, on one of the oldest parcels of the C\u00f4te de Nuits. This grand cru comes from a terroir with an extraordinary history. In 1855, four Burgundy grands crus were classified as T\u00eate de cuv\u00e9e. Clos de Vougeot was one of them, along with Chambertin, Clos de B\u00e8ze and Roman\u00e9e Conti.<br\/>This wine has a highly expressive aromatic bouquet. On the palate, the wine is well-structured and lively, with well-balanced black fruit aromas, lightly smoky notes and a fresh finish. Romain Lemaire is currently offering the 2019 and 2020 vintages.
