This aglianico from Mount Vulture, an ancient volcano on the edge of Basilicata, is a parcel selection made in the commune of Ginestra. It is produced only in great vintages, from 70-year-old vines grown at an altitude of 600 meters. It exudes aromas of red fruit and cocoa, as well as noble notes of rose and mint. Once brought to temperature and decanted, it displays a finesse and minerality that are the hallmarks of great volcanic reds!
