Considered a traditional dish, the p\u00e2t\u00e9-cro\u00fbte has long suffered from industrial charcuterie, despite being one of the most technical dishes to make and the tastiest to enjoy. This first-of-its-kind event will be held on June 23, 2025 from 4 to 8 pm at the Lausanne Palace, under the direction of Fabien Pairon, Meilleur Ouvrier de France charcutier and Franck Pelux, a two-Michelin-star chef. The three-country selection rounds for the final will begin on Monday June 23. &#8220;The wonderful adventure of the <g id=\"gid_0\"><g id=\"gid_1\">World Pastry Championship<\/g><\/g> continues to grow each year, with the creation of new events broadening the selection across the globe and offering candidates from all over the world the chance to take part in this renowned competition&#8221;, says Gilles Demange, co-founder of the World Pastry Championship.
