Built from recycled or locally-produced materials, it operates without the use of fossil fuels. A few figures to give you an idea of the scale of the project: 160 m\u00b3 of soil reclaimed on site to build raw earth walls, 1,400 m\u00b2 of solar panels equivalent to the annual consumption of 260 households, 600 m\u00b3 of recycled glass used to insulate the foundations, 2,800 m\u00b3 of cork from cork stopper manufacturing waste used to insulate walls and roofs, 2,700 m\u00b3 of standing Vaud spruce that produced 1,950 m\u00b3 of wood for the frames, facades, intermediate slabs and roofs. &#8220;Our sector is facing major challenges, particularly in terms of sustainable viticulture and adaptation to climate upheavals, which are exerting direct and unprecedented pressure on our terroirs.
